Large vintage buffalo hide rug measuring around 6 ft by 7 or 8 ft ... depending where you take measurements from.
Beautiful natural hide. Pre owned. From a high end estate where it was displayed on the wall. Owner was a Southwest Native American collector, his home was like a hunting lodge
The condition is quite good for its age and storage, not sure of the age, maybe 80s or 90s, most of the stuff from his collection dated back to the 20s or 30s. There is some hair loss that exposes the hide in some corner areas but I think this is natural. Nice - cozy - soft. Some surface wear on the back of the hide. Overall a great fur rug and definite statement piece for any room in the house
